Support & frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

How do I scatter material into a chalked field?

Tap a basket along the kerb to pick it up, then drag across the chalked field whose colour and glyph match that basket. Grains land around your finger inside the field you started in — if you drag outside the chalk line, the spilled material lowers that field's fidelity.

Why did a finished field get blown away?

Once a field is full it has to be misted before the wind picks it up again. Watch the wind vane near the top of the board — it swings a few seconds before a gust. Press and hold the watering can over a dry field to protect it before the gust arrives.

I ran out of water. What do I do?

The watering can holds three charges. The children carrying buckets refill it automatically every few seconds — if one of them trips, it simply takes a little longer. There's nothing to buy; just wait for the next bucket.

Can I replay a section I've already finished?

Yes. Open the Route tab, choose the town and section, and start it again. Your best result for that section is kept, so replaying can only improve your petals, never lose them.

How do I save or share a carpet I finished?

Open the Sketchbook tab and tap any finished carpet. From there you can rename it, save it to your Photos library, or share it with the system share sheet.

Does Blumenteppich need an internet connection?

No. Every town, pattern and level is already inside the app and works fully offline. A connection is only used if you open a town's official tourism page from the Almanac.

Does the app have ads or in-app purchases?

No. Blumenteppich has no ads, no currency and nothing to buy. Everything is unlocked by playing.

How do I turn off sound, music or haptics?

Open Settings from the gear icon on the Street screen. Sound effects, music, haptics and a reduce-motion option can each be switched off independently, and your choice is remembered.
